悉尼市政府正式公布2019年圣诞庆典节日阵容
悉尼将以街头派队、圣诞集市、全新南威尔士州最高的巨型圣诞树和五场音乐会等前所未有的节庆阵容迎接今年圣诞的到来。
今天，悉尼市市长Clover Moore正式公布了2019年圣诞庆典的活动安排，本届庆典将从11月23日拉开帷幕，其间会通过精心的装点和精彩的活动把整个悉尼及其周边的市区村落烘托出浓郁的佳节气氛。
市长说：“我们的圣诞庆典每年都会有创新，去年仅凭首届圣诞之城（Christmas in the City）活动就吸引了22,000名观众！由于这场活动的粉丝拥趸无数，我们决定扩大节目范围，以满足更大人群同乐共欢的需求。”
“本届圣诞庆典斥资$3百万（3,000,000）利用30多天的时间在市区各地推出如皮尔蒙特社区村落圣诞音乐会（Village Christmas Concert in Pyrmont）、首届绿色广场圣诞集市（Green Square Christmas Fair）等特色元素。”
“圣诞是普天同乐的佳节，为此我们专注创造面向大众，无障碍且具包容性，适合老少同欢的庆典。”

2019年悉尼圣诞庆典活动亮点：
圣诞之城
悉尼市2019年圣诞庆典活动将为整座城市掀起佳节风潮，在多条街道推出节日气氛浓厚的圣诞之城主题活动，把悉尼市中心打造成为名副其实的节庆乐园。
活动当晚6点30分至9点30分，市中心马丁广场（Martin Place）至皮特街购物商区（Pitt Street Mall）和国王大街（King Street）路段将对外开放，奉献现场音乐、巡游表演、圣诞颂歌和圣诞灯饰等精彩元素。
这场街头派对将在皮特街购物商区、国王大街和马丁广场搭建多处舞台，特邀深受大人和孩子们喜爱的儿童节目明星—— 《Giggle and Hoot》主持人Jimmy Giggle、著名儿童节目主持人贾斯汀∙克拉克（Justine Clarke）和SplashDance表演团为前来感受佳节气氛的观众奉献精彩演出。
活动新元素还包括：魔术巡游表演、骑着驯鹿的圣诞精灵、圣诞拐杖糖高跷表演和维也纳音乐DJ皮特∙贝克尔（Peter Baecker）编排的耳熟能详的80年代乐曲，定会让观众们不由自主地为之舞动。
圣诞装饰物手工制作也能让小朋友们忙得不亦乐乎。与此同时，您还能购买$5圣诞礼包，以此帮助悉尼市政府圣诞节慈善伙伴新南威尔士州冲浪救生协会（Surf Life Saving NSW）的公益事业。
市长和圣诞老人还将乘坐由自行车制作的雪橇，跟随一支行进乐队，从环形码头（Circular Quay）沿皮特街一路前行至悉尼市政厅。
皮特街购物商区也将利用精彩表演、巡游娱乐、优美合唱，外加节庆专卖品牌店铺茱丽（Jurlique）、微软（Microsoft）、极度干燥（Superdry）、苏斯博士（Dr Seuss）所提供的热卖折扣，营造圣诞仙境氛围。与此同时，KIIS1065广播电台还会在邻近的Lees Court安排“KIIS沙滩（KIIS Beach）”活动，为民众准备沙雕、冰激凌和舒适的躺椅。
马丁广场圣诞树会从当晚7点30分开始每隔15分钟为人们奉献一场闪耀彩灯秀。

48年来，新南威尔士州最高的圣诞树都是本市庆典最引人注目的装饰品。
圣诞树高耸25米，树上盛开着15,000丛澳大利亚本土花卉，并装有110,000盏LED彩灯等装饰物、330颗量身定制的圣诞彩球和一颗3.4米高的圣诞恒星。
树上所有的装饰彩灯都将在11月23日至1月1日点亮，在每晚的夜幕中闪烁奇光异彩直至凌晨1点。与此同时，每晚7点30分至10点，圣诞树每隔30分钟还会奉献一场精美的配乐灯秀。
圣诞社区村落音乐会 （Village Concerts）
悉尼市政府系列圣诞社区村落亲子音乐会将免费对民众开放，上演儿童娱乐节目、现场音乐表演，圣诞老人也会到场助兴。
首场演出—— 悉尼圣诞儿童音乐会（Sydney Children’s Christmas Concert）安排在11月30日阿尔弗雷德王子公园（Prince Alfred Park）。其它日期还包括：12月1日罗斯贝里区（Rosebery）、12月6日瑞西卡特湾（Rushcutters Bay）、12月7日皮尔蒙特区（Pyrmont）、12月13日亚历山德里亚区（Alexandria）。
每场演出都会在活动当晚6点30分至8点30分举行，不但会为小朋友们邀请深受喜爱的表演者如：儿童节目主持人Jimmy Giggle、贾斯汀∙克拉克、儿歌叔叔BennyTime、来自《爷爷奶奶秀（The Nannas & The Poppas）》儿童节目的明星祖父母们登台献艺，还会为大人们准备悠扬的现场乐曲演奏。
绿色广场圣诞集市（Green Square Christmas Fair）
悉尼市政府会在绿色广场购物区（Green Square plaza）搭建市内首届圣诞集市。活动将于12月14日星期六晚6点30分开始直至晚8点30分结束。
届时，30多家机构将在此设立摊位，为大众提供精致圣诞主题美味、各式私家酱料、精美装饰画和手工制作的蜡烛。
人们可携挚友亲朋共同分享美食餐车饕餮和集市吧台美酒。
多位音乐DJ会给大家演绎节日韵律乐曲，演出尾声，圣诞老人会亲临现场，为活动助兴。
圣诞斑斓（Christmas Lights）
11月23日起直至元旦，皮特街购物区斑斓星光大道以10片两米高群星灯帘组成的85,000盏炫目灯火会把圣诞购物季的街头照得灯火通明。
马丁广场也会张灯结彩颜值加持，在14根街道照明灯杆上悬挂2.7米高的圣诞装饰，6颗1.5米高的圣诞恒星将悬于广场上空的童话般的装饰彩灯帘之中。与此同时，自11月28日晚6点开始，进落成的浮尔顿酒店（Fullerton Hotel）也会加入其中，在每晚夜幕降临之时闪烁佳节光彩。
12月5日至25日每晚，圣玛丽大教堂（St Mary’s Cathedral）会伴随圣诞颂歌的天籁之音向观众们呈现引人遐想的音效投影表演。
圣诞颂歌以及佳节购物体验
自11月28日起，每周四至周六，外加12月23日和24日，颂歌合唱表演者将在马丁广场圣诞树旁为圣诞血拼的顾客送上佳节祝福，渲染浓郁的节日气氛。
市内商家店铺将推行琳琅满目的节庆热卖促销、橱窗展示、店内装潢、礼品包装、圣诞老人合影、个性化礼品推销等，让节日气氛更祥和。
11月23日至12月27日，人们在购物闲暇还可驻足位于马丁广场圣诞树旁的GPO邮政总局大楼甜品巴（GPO Grand’s Dessert Bar），品味圣诞主题的甜点、蛋糕、冰激凌、咖啡和各式饮品。

Christmas in Sydney with all the trimmings
A street party in the heart of the city, Christmas markets, the state’s tallest Christmas tree and five concerts are just some of the festivities in store to celebrate Christmas in Sydney.
Lord Mayor Clover Moore today launched the 2019 Sydney Christmas program which runs from 23 November and features decorations, events and activities across Sydney CBD and the city’s villages.
“Our Christmas celebrations continue to grow each year, with last year’s inaugural Christmas in the City event alone attracting 22,000 people! In line with this wonderful demand, we have expanded our program so more people can join in the fun,” the Lord Mayor said.
“We’re spending around $3 million on more than 30 days of festivities right across the city centre and our local communities, including a Village Christmas Concert in Pyrmont and the inaugural Green Square Christmas Fair.
“Christmas is for everyone, so we’ve created a program that is accessible, inclusive and caters for all ages.
“I hope you will all join me in welcoming everyone to our city and bringing our diverse community together this Christmas, while enjoying our long summer evenings in our beautiful parks and public spaces.”

Christmas in the City
Sydney’s 2019 Christmas program gets underway with the CBD transformed into a festive playground for Christmas in the City.
From 6.30pm to 9.30pm, a street party in and around Martin Place, Pitt Street and King Street will feature live entertainment, choirs, roving entertainers, decorations and lights.
There will be stages at Pitt Street Mall, King Street and Martin Place featuring family favourites including Jimmy Giggle, Justine Clarke and SplashDance. The cast from The School of Rock musical will stop by for a special performance.
Roving magicians, elves on reindeers and candy-cane stilt walkers will add to the festivities, while DJ Peter Baecker from Vienna is sure to get crowds dancing to his renowned mix of 80s floor-fillers.
Art and craft activities will keep little ones busy and you can help the City’s Christmas charity partner, Surf Life Saving NSW, by purchasing a $5 fundraising showbag packed with goodies.
The Lord Mayor will join Santa in his reindeer tricycle sleigh led by a marching band through the city from Circular Quay, along Pitt Street to Town Hall.
Pitt Street Mall will be a festive wonderland with performers, roving entertainers, choirs and shopping offers at pop-up outlets including Jurlique, Microsoft, Superdry and Dr Seuss. Nearby at Lees Court, KIIS 1065’s ‘KIIS Beach’ will have live sand sculpting, gelato and super-sized deck chairs.
From 7.30pm, the Martin Place Christmas Tree will illuminate every 15 minutes with a specially created sound and light show.

The state’s tallest Christmas tree has been the centre of Sydney’s Christmas celebrations for 48 years.
Standing 25-metres tall, it is dressed with 110,000 LED lights, 15,000 native flower decorations, 330 glossy beach ball baubles and a 3.4 metre star.
The Martin Place Christmas Tree will be lit until 1am every night from 23 November to 1 January, with a spectacular sound and light show running every 30 minutes from 7.30pm to 10pm.
